A hand sewing awl which can be used to sew any heavy material, the RECON GS2  sewing awl is a great tool to have where leather, canvas or vinyl have to be sewn or repaired. Made with high-tensile waxed thread and custom-made diamond point needle. The RECON GS2 is not just handy around the house or farm or shed. On hiking or camping trips, the RECON GS2 sewing awl can assemble and mend heavy denier tactical nylon canvas tarps, climbing and camping gear - even shoes and belts.
